Physiotherapy



Physiotherapy is a health care profession which provides services to individuals and populations to develop, maintain and restore maximum movement and functional ability throughout life. This includes providing services in circumstances where movement and function are threatened by aging, injury, disease or environmental factors.

Physical therapy is concerned with identifying and maximizing quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, treatment/intervention, habilitation and rehabilitation.



Physiotherapy has many specialties including cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, neurologic, orthopaedic and pediatrics to name some of the more common areas. PTs practice in many settings, such as outpatient clinics or offices, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, extended care facilities, private homes, education and research centers, schools, hospices, industrial workplaces or other occupational environments, fitness centers and sports training facilities.
Fitness and Rehab



Joint care centre has a well sophisticated fitness lab. fitness comprises two related concepts: general fitness and specific fitness.


Accordingly, a general-purpose physical fitness program must address the following essentials:

Body Composition

General Skill Training
Radiology





Radiology is the branch or speciality of medicine that deals with the study and application of imaging technology like x-ray and radiation to diagnosing and treating disease.





Joint Care Centre provides treatment to diagnose or treat disease. Interventional radiology is the performance of (usually minimally invasive) medical procedures with the guidance of imaging technologies. The acquisition of medical imaging is usually carried out by the radiographer or radiologic technologist.
Trauma Care





A trauma patient is someone who has suffered serious and life-threatening physical injury with the potential for secondary complications such as shock, respiratory failure and death.

There are a wide variety of symptoms that are associated with physical trauma; for example, unconsciousness, internal bleeding, disorientation, shock, or even death.

Joint Care Centre provides specialized care to trauma patients.
